English: Horton Almshouses, Middleton Cheney. This row of almshouses, erected in the 19th century by Mary Ann Horton, is situated on Main Road, Middleton Cheney. This road was once the A422, a busy through route between Banbury and Brackley, but is now relatively quiet, a by-pass having been built to the south of the village. |
