Description
English: Stock certificate of the Société Anonyme d'Horticulture et de Botanique de Gand for 100 Francs, issued in Ghent on 1 April 1835, signed in his own hand by its president Joseph van Crombrugghe, Mayor of Ghent. Founded in 1808, the society organised flower shows based on the English model from 1809 onwards. Currently, the Ghent Floralia take place every five years.
Français : Action de la Société Anonyme d'Horticulture et de Botanique de Gand de 100 francs, émise à Gand le 1er avril 1835, signée de la main de son président Joseph van Crombrugghe, bourgmestre de Gand. La société, fondée en 1808, organisa à partir de 1809 des expositions florales sur le modèle anglais. Actuellement, les Floralies gantoises ont lieu tous les cinq ans.
Deutsch: Aktie der Société Anonyme d'Horticulture et de Botanique de Gand über 100 Francs, ausgestellt in Gent am 1. April 1835, eigenhändig unterschrieben von ihrem Präsidenten Joseph van Crombrugghe, Bürgermeister von Gent. Die 1808 gegründete Gesellschaft organisierte ab 1809 Blumenausstellungen nach englischem Vorbild. Aktuell finden die Genter Floralien alle fünf Jahre statt.
