Description
English: Sculpture from Sam'al now in the Pergamon Museum, Berlin. Original tag on exhibit states: "Pferdekopfe, vielleich zu einem Statuensockel gehorend. Gefunde auf der Burg von Sam'al/Zincirli. Der vordere Teil des linke Kopfe is rekonstruiert. Basalt. 8.Jh.v.Chr." which roughly translates as "Horsehead, vielleich belong to a statue pedestal. Located on the Castle of Sam'al / Zincirli. The face of the left brain is reconstructed. Basalt. 8th century before Christ." (only run through Google translate...)
