Description
English: Doeker House (Haus Doeker) in Hopsten, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. This old timber framed house, built in the 18th century, is listed as a cultural heritage monument.
Deutsch: „Haus Doeker“, Bunte Straße 24, in Hopsten, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Das aus demm 18. Jahrhundert stammende Fachwerkhaus mit Satteldach ist ein für Hopsten typisches Töddenhaus aus Fachwerk. Die charakteristischen großen Fensteröffnungen sind noch weitgehend in ihrer historischen Form überliefert. Das Gebäude steht seit 1988 unter Denkmalschutz. Dieser umfasst das Äußere und die historische Konstruktion des Fachwerkhauses. Ebenfalls denkmalwert ist die zur Straße gelegene „alte Küche“ mit der wandfesten Ausstattung und dem Kamin mit Kaminbossen.
