Photograph of Hopi children riding burros, Arizona, ca.1900. Six children ride on two burros, three on each burro. A man stands next to the burro on the right. The burro on the left is a white burro with dark spots, while the burro on the right is of a single color. The lead boy is naked. The others are all clothed in dresses, shirts or blankets. The man wears a dark long-sleeved shirt and dark pants. Part of a structure is visible at right.
