| Description |
Nederlands: In de oxystaalfabriek komt op het staal een laag slak te liggen. Slak is een afvalproduct en mag niet in het staal komen. Het staal wordt via een tapgat uit de converter gegoten in de staalpan. Het slak blijft achter en zodra al het staal is verwijderd wordt de converter geheel omgedraaid en het slak via de vulopening in de slakpan gegoten.
