Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Airmail stamp of Hungary, 1933 (Michel 505). The cross in the background is a patriarchal cross, a national symbol not only in Hungary, but also in Slovakia. Moreover, the text on the aircraft wings reads 'Justice for Hungary' interpreted in Slovakia as a wish to reclaim areas that Hungary had ceded to Slovakia after the (First) World War. Hence, post with this stamp was returned to the sender in Hungary with a sticker 'Unallowable'. The 20 Fillér stamp with the same image got rejected as well, see File:Hong lp 20.jpg.
