delightfully homoerotic, this is meant to represent the union between the city and the country. i don't think an architecht would be able to get away with this kind of "flourish" today. they are currently renovating the building, gutting it entirely .. but are {wisely} choosing to retain the facade, sculpture included. a four year old snap. |
