Description
Deutsch: Der in das schmiedeeiserne Gitter eingelassene "Wunschring" am Holzmarktbrunnen in Hannover. Eine "Sage" aus jüngster Zeit schreibt dem Ring Wunschkraft zu, wenn man ihn (dreimal wortlos nach links) dreht. Für die nahtlose Ausführung des Rings aus Messing wird auf den Schönen Brunnen in Nürnberg verwiesen. Das reich verzierte Gitterwerk um den ursprünglichen Brunnen von 1896 wurde erst 1914 hinzugefügt. Die Schmiedearbeiten stammen von H. W. Wittenberg.
