Description

Main attraction to pilgrims at Pura Tirta Empul ( = the Holy Water Temple). The main pool is fed by the sacred spring via 12 fountains. Worshippers first make an offering at the temple, then climb into the pool to bathe and pray.

Some even collect holy water in bottles to take home.
