San Fran-cisco, by reason of its Panama-Pacific International Expo-sition, is naturally the great convention city for 1915. It isfelt, however, that the Pacific Coast possesses attractions forthe electric light and power men of the country other thanthose of its Exposition City; for, out here along the shores ofthe great Western ocean have the greatest strides in thedevelopment of hydro-electric power been made, the greatestachievements in the long-distance transmission of electricenergy along high-tension wires.
