Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Holme Lacy station nameboard posts
The concrete posts which once carried the station nameboard still survive, although the one in the background is slowly being eaten by the tree. Also surviving, though difficult to photograph in the summer, are the station building foundations, as shown in Philip Pankhurst's 2007 shot SO5535 : Holme Lacy Station - foundations of station buildings and the platform, seen in Bob Embleton's SO5535 : Holme Lacy Railway Station from 2006. Holme Lacy station is the only station site on the former line which hasn't been either redeveloped or converted to a private house.
