English: Holm Oaks - Northover These trees look like a line of Holm Oak (quercus ilex) growing along an old stone wall. This species of tree was brought over from North Africa or Southern Europe in the sixteenth century. The evergreen leaves are dark green and glossy on the upper side and paler and felted underneath. |
