Title
Hollow harness pendant or bell?
Description
English: A cast copper-alloy inverted drop-shaped hollow-backed horse harness pendant complete with the suspension loop. The design is broadly that of a lantern, with three oval openings, rounded at the top and pointed at the bottom, with a semi-circular section decorated with four dots above. There are traces of gilding remaining. A cast rivet at the back holds the remains of a copper-alloy sheeting back-plate to which may have been attached a decorative strap.
