English: Hollis Lane access point, Kenilworth Greenway The ramp by the bridge over Hollis Lane gives access to the Kenilworth Greenway permissive bridleway. At this point the embanked dismantled railway route gives wide views over the surrounding countryside - stubble at this time of year. The houses on the horizon are on Red Lane in SP2774.
The Kenilworth Greenway runs along the route of the dismantled railway between Kenilworth and Berkswell. The former LNWR line was opened 1884, closed 1969. |
