Description
English:
Former Kiskun District Headquarters Kiskun-captain's House and Dungeon (city prison) and belfry. Since 1939 (1942?), here is the Kiskun Museum (Est. 1902). One storey, L-shaped, gable roof, listed, Baroque building. Completed in (after a great fire) 1794. In its courtyard is the one storey dungeon/prison building. A stone wall, of which the dungeon is a part, divides the courtyard into two parts. In the north part of the courtyard is a the last remaining Alföld underdrive wind mill, in the south a former stable and a former agricultural storage. About the main building: In the central axis of its street façade there is the mid avant corps with a tympanum (CoA of the city, constrruction date: 1794). There are barred groundfloor windows, on 1st storey windows with shutter. Gateway with stuccos. Courtyard side arcades with glass. Former chapel and cellar entry from courtyard side. On its façade was the Martyr's Memorial Plaque by Ferenc Kovács (Erected 1969, limestone, memorial plaque decorated with portrait reliefs of four martyrs; removed after politic changing 1990s?) Inscription on the memorial plaque: "Comrades Sándor Iványi, Mártonffy/Ernő Héderi, Antal Héderi, Némedi/Sándor Varga / the leaders of the Directory were tortured / to death in this building."- 9 Holló Lajos Street (Route 5), Kiskunfélegyháza, Bács-Kiskun County, Hungary

Hrangláb és tömlöc épület. Egykori Kiskun Kerületi Kapitányság Kiskunkapitány-ház és tömlöc (városi börtön). Az épület 1939 óta (hu wp.) /1942 óta kiskunfelegyhaza.hu, 1940 óta muemlekem.hu/ a Kiskun Múzeum otthona. A középtengelyi rízalit timpanonjában a város címere, alatta építési felirat: 1794. Homlokzatán volt a Mártír-emléktábla Kovács Ferenc alkotás (Felállítás 1969, mészkő, négy mártír portrédomborművel díszített emléktábla) Felirat az emléktáblán: "Ebben az épületben kínozták/halálra a fehér-terror idején/Iványi Sándor, Mártonffy/Ernő, Héderi Antal, Némedi/Varga Sándor elvtársakat/a direktórium vezetőit." [1] - Egy kőfalkerítés,-melynek része a tömlöc,-két részre osztja az udvart. Itt van egyetlen megmaradt alföldi alulhajtós szélmalma, mellette faragott útmenti keresztek és Árpád-kori/XI-XIII. századi veremház rekonstrukció is láthatók. - Műemléki azonosító: 2283, törzsszám: 595 ÉS része 'épületegyüttesek: dr. Holló Lajos út 9-19' néven helyi védelem alatt álló épületegyüttesnek azonosító: -4889 (helyrajzi szám: 3186, 3187, 3188, 3190, 3191, 3191) - Bács-Kiskun vármegye, Kiskunfélegyháza, Holló Lajos utca (5-ös főút) 9., Oskola utca, helyrajzi szám: 3186.
