Description
English: The office building Magnus-Friedmann-Haus, located in Hamburg in the borough Neustadt at the corner of 28 Hohe Bleichen (streetname) and 53 Poststrasse, erected during imperial time, about 1905. From 1920 the building served for the management and administration of Oelwerke Julius Schindler G.m.b.H. (oil trader & refineries), from 1927 for Tankschiff-Reederei Julius Schindler G.m.b.H. (shipping company), too. A plate with the name Oelwerke Julius Schindler is still right next to the building's entrance at 28 Hohe Bleichen.
Deutsch: Kontorhaus Magnus-Friedmann-Haus, Hohe Bleichen 28, Poststraße 53 in Hamburg-Neustadt, erbaut um 1905. Ab 1920 diente es der Geschäftsführung und der Verwaltung der Oelwerke Julius Schindler G.m.b.H. (Ölhandel & Raffinerien), ab 1927 auch der Tankschiff-Reederei Julius Schindler G.m.b.H. Ein großformatiges Namensschild der Oelwerke Julius Schindler befindet sich noch immer neben dem Eingang Hohe Bleichen 28.
