Description
English: The island that it sits on was called Hog Island when the lighthouse was constructed (1816-1817). The island is now called Paradise Island and the lighthouse is also known by the following names:
  • Nassau Harbor Lighthouse
  • Paradise Island Lighthouse
  • Colonial Beach Lighthouse
Construction began in 1816 and was completed on September 1, 1817.
