Description
Deutsch: Einzeldenkmal der Sachgesamtheit Festung Sonnenstein, später Heil- und Pflegeanstalt Pirna-Sonnenstein: Hauptgebäude auf dem Sonnenstein (Haus A 11, A 12, A 13, später Strömungsmaschinenwerk Haus 29); baugeschichtlich, landesgeschichtlich, ortsbildprägend, hausgeschichtlich, künstlerisch und wissenschaftlich von Bedeutung, ältester Gebäudestandort auf der Festung, westlicher Teil als Seitenflügel mit Beamtenwohnungen im 19. Jahrhundert im Stil der Neorenaissance neu gebaut, östlicher Teil mit markantem Kopfbau (im Innern schönes Treppenhaus und Festsaal) 1905–1907 für die Königliche Landesirrenanstalt neu gebaut, ein Bau im Reformstil der Zeit um 1910, Architekten: Schilling & Graebner, Dresden.Beherbergt jetzt das Stadtarchiv Pirna (Archivverbund)
