Deutsch: Ein komplexer Graph einer Webseite (hier hof.de). Dieser Graph zeigt das Resultat eines Webcrawlers der Webseite mit seinen Unterseiten. Üblicherweise sind Subknoten nach demselben URL-Zweig gruppiert. So wären beispielsweise alle Unteradressen mit dem Adressstrang "www.katze.example/katze/Hauskatze/" unter dem Knoten "Hauskatze" aufgeführt. Dieser Graph ist ein Beispiel die Visualisierung einer Webseite. Für den Graphen wurden nur öffentlich aufrufbare Inhalte benutzt. Dieser Graph zeigt auch den Aufbau bzw. die Struktur einer Webseite. Solche Graphen ließen sich über Links zu anderen Homepages noch erweitern. Graphen wie solche sind im Bereich der Graphentheorie, aber auch den Informationswissenschaften im World Wide Web ein Thema und Untersuchungsgegenstand. Mit ihnen kann man Analysen über Zeit aufbauen, oder Zusammenhänge und Korrelationen aufstellen. Übersichtsgraphen wie diese können auch eine Webarchivierung erleichtern. Diese Modelle können in diversen Wissenschaftsbereichen Anwendung finden.
