Description HOBOKEN, New Jersey (Oct. 4, 2016) — National Transportation Safety Board investigator Michael Hiller places the event recorder from the control cab of the lead car from NJ Transit’s Pascack Valley Line train #1614 into an anti-static bag for transport to the NTSB’s laboratory in Washington, District of Columbia. Train #1614 crashed in the New Jersey Transit Hoboken Terminal Sept. 29, 2016, and any data from the event recorder will be analyzed as part of the NTSB’s investigation of the accident.
