Description
English: The first written report about of the town of Hlinsko dates back to 1349, the reign of Charles IV., a small town probably under the reign of King Wenceslas IV., in 1598 the original town hall was built. Hlinsko became a town in 1834 and in 1850 the town hall was rebuilt into its present form photo). Coat of arms, half of horse with a blue bridle in the red field (depicted on the tower of the town hall) and the flag are symbols of the town. The town office is headquartered in the town hall, town is headed by the mayor. Town Hall stands at the top part of "Poděbradovo" square, derived from the name of King George of Podebrady. Čeština: První písemná zpráva o městě Hlinsko pochází z roku 1349, z období vlády Karla IV., městečkem pravděpodobně za vlády krále Václava IV., v roce 1598 postavena původní radnice. Hlinsko se stalo městem v roce 1834 a v roce 1850 byla radnice přestavěna do současné podoby (foto). Znak, polovina koně v kroku s modrou uzdou v červeném poli (vyobrazen na věži radnice) a vlajka jsou symboly města. Na radnici sídlí městský úřad v čele se starostou. Výška objektu radnice s věží je cca 32 m, pata objektu radnice (v záběru roh budovy vpravo, na rozhraní Havlíčkovy ulice a Poděbradova náměstí) leží v nadmořské výšce 568 m a střed makovice věže radnice se nachází v nadmořské výšce 600,24 m. Vlevo od budovy radnice část objektu úřadu práce.
