| Description |
English: The town of Hlinsko, a panoramic view from the locality "K Pláňavům" (620 m) on the northwest slope of "Pešava" (697 m). With sufficient snow cover, the site is used for classic skiing. In the summer months, it is wet meadows, in the sloping terrain with the location "In Dolce", from where the water is drawn into the "Blatenský" stream. In the picture a distinct valley with trees and of brook "Blatenský", in the photo from the right edge of the image towards its center, above the brook of garden colony and huts. Geographically, the site is part of the Kameničská Highlands, the geomorphological district of the Iron Mountains. The locality is a specially protected area, part of Protected Landscape Area Žďárské vrchy, to the right of the forest lies the European significant site and the natural monument "Ratajské" ponds. From the city center the tourist route of the Club of Czech Tourists is brought to locality "Ratajské" ponds, is marked in yellow. In the middle of the picture of the urban settlement and heating plant with chimney (116 m), to the right the industrial object (ETA, MEGATECH). To the left of the housing estate is the older town, above it on the horizon the peak "Vestec" "668 m) in of Protected Landscape Area Železné hory. In left on the horizon, the wooded peak "K lázním" (679 m) over "Svatojanské" Spas (urban area of the town), to the right of it trigonometric point "U lázní" (655 m) and the hill with name "Na skalce" (637 m) at the level of urn grove with the statue of Master Jan Hus. In left below the hills the River Chrudimka flows in the valley, in part of town with name "Blatno" and with the road No. 343 in the section Hlinsko - village Jeníkov. Čeština: Město Hlinsko, panoramatický pohled z lokality K Pláňavům (620 m) na severozápadním úbočí vrchu Pešava (697 m). S dostatkem sněhové pokrývky se místo využívá pro klasické lyžování. V letních měsících se jedná o mokré louky ve svažitém terénu s lokalitou V Dolcích, odkud se voda stahuje do Blatenského potoka. Na fotografii zřetelná údolní niva Blatenského potoka se stromy, v záběru od pravého okraje snímku směrem k jeho středu, nad potokem zahrádky a chaty. Geograficky je lokalita součástí Kameničské vrchoviny, geomorfologického okrsku Železných hor. Lokalita je zvláště chráněným územím, překrývá ji Chráněná krajinná oblast Žďárské vrchy, zcela vpravo za okrajem lesa se nachází evropsky významná lokalita a přírodní památka Ratajské rybníky. Z centra města vedena do lokality Ratajské rybníky turistická trasa Klubu českých turistů, žlutě značená (úsek Hlinsko-Betlém – Ratajské rybníky – Dědová). Uprostřed snímku městské sídliště a teplárna s komínem (116 m), vpravo od něho průmyslový objekt (ETA, MEGATECH). Vlevo od sídliště starší zástavba města, nad ní na obzoru vrchol Vestec (668 m n. m.) v Chráněné krajinné oblasti Železné hory. Vlevo na obzoru zalesněný vrchol K lázním (679 m) nad Svatojánskými Lázněmi (urbanistický obvod města)., od něho vpravo svahová kupa s trigonometrickým bodem U lázní (655 m) a kopec s názvem Na skalce (637 m) na úrovni urnového háje se sochou Mistra Jana Husa. Vlevo pod kopci protéká v údolí řeka Chrudimka, v části města s názvem Blatno a se silnicí II/343 v úseku Hlinsko – Jeníkov.
