Description
English: Photo taken 2021 of exhibits in Hjemmefrontmuseet Rakkestad, a community-based museum in Rakkestad, Norway. The museum showcases around 3000 artifacts related to Nazi Germany's occupation of Norway and the Norwegian resistance during World War II 1940 – 1945 and the corresponding historical era:
  • Jacket worn by the Norwegian Sigrid Regine Heide (1909–1997) during her captivity in Ravensbrück concentration camp, a women's concentration camp in Nazi Germany during World War II, from 1944 to 1945. The jacket has a red, triangular patch (Nazi concentration camp badge) indicating "political prisoner" and the prisoner number 35615. On the back, there is a large white-painted cross, serving as a marker in case of any escape attempts.
  • A framed page from a magazine including an interview with Sigrid Heide, stating: "I was Hitler's prisoner no. 35615."
