The greaterpart of the building, including the portion shown above, is occupied bythe Eidon Handle Company in the manufacture of all kinds of whip handlesand whips. They are making whip handles and whips on an entirely newprinciple. In the old way of whip making whether of better or cheaperwhips, the handle was made with the top or upper portion of whip. TheRidon Handle Co. makes the handle of the whip separate and apart fromthe top of the whip. The body of the handle is steel which is covered witha variety of materials such as leather, celluloid—in different colors, etc. Asthe handle of the Eidon whips are made separate and apart from the top itis evident that a great variety of combinations can be obtained, impossiblein the old style of whip making.
