  • A search for renewals was done in periodicals for the years 1963 and 1964. There were no renewals for the Minneapolis Tribune. In addition, original registrations in artwork were checked for the year 1936; International News Photos registered no Hindenburg photos in that year. There's no evidence that copyright exists on the photo at present.
