English: The Japan Meteorological Agency released the first images from the Himawari 8 satellite on 18 December 2014 at 11:40 Japan Standard Time, including this true-color composite image of the Earth.
To make the picture closer to human beings’ colour vision but keep most of details, some enhancements are applied. Lighten Shadows: 30% Channels: Green– Green 90% / Blue– Red -5% Blue 90% Exposure: 25% Levels: Black 10% |
