Description
日本語: 彦根市日夏町にある日夏里館（ひかりかん）。ウィリアム・メレル・ヴォーリズの設計で昭和9年（1934年）に建てられたもので、日夏村の廃止まで日夏村役場、村廃止後は産業組合合同庁舎のち日夏公民館、日夏町民会館、日夏町自治会館などと名称を変えていたようである。また、時期は不明だが北側が増設され、そこと一階は彦根市農協日夏支店として使われていたが平成13年（2001年）に閉店した。こののちに個人所有となったようだが、平成21年（2009年）に日夏ヴォーリズ建築の会が代表・古川与志継氏として買い取り、翌年に日夏里館として開館した。2013年（平成25年）3月29日には「旧日夏村役場産業組合合同庁舎」として国指定登録有形文化財に指定された。 右手前のものは地域の祭りに使われた車山。
