You will be glad toknow that most probably within avery few months plans will be giv-ing way to actual accomplishment, and Maryville will be on the way topossession of a first class stadium, and an adequate gymnasium, withmodern equipment. The specific purpose of this letteris to ask you if you will not, whenyou receive it, sit down as soon aspossible and write a brief snappyfifty to seventy-five word note ex-pressing your feeling in regard tothis project. A letter like this is go-ing out to forty or fifty other menand women who have helped to makeathletic history at M. C. and it isour hope to be able to print their re-plies and yours together in a publi-cation which will be sent out to allalumni and former students. Thesenotes will be published over the names of their contributors andshould make a splendid contributionto the success of the campaign. Yourprompt reply will do much to help.Sincerely yours, The Alumni Editor.
