Some few weeks ago this columncontained a timely and pointed ar-ticle by an alumnus in which wasset forth the idea that the alumniof Maryville College are not render-ing any real organized service to the College. The Alumni Editor sug-gested, in a prefactory note printedwith that article, that it would bea stimulating and helpful thing ifa large number of alumni wouldcontribute opinions and suggestionsto a symposium on the generaltheme of Organized Service by theAlumni.
