English: High tide at Inchmery foreshore Here the tide is high, assisted by moderate winds from the southwest. There is a footpath along the foreshore, which is an SSSI. There are wooden groynes along this section of the Solent shore, and those in this photo are starting to decay. In the distance are boats near the mouth of the Beaulieu River. |
