LILIES. All Lilies delight in rich soil such as is afforded by a mixture of loam and well-rot- ted manure. When grown in the border or open ground they should remain undisturbed for years, frequent removals being injurious. In the autumn give the bulbs a heavy mulch- ing of leaves, coarse manure or boughs will prove highly beneficial. Plant all Lilies at least six inches deep. When Lilies are ordered at 100 rates buyer pays transit. Auratum (The Golden-Banded Lily). Finest of all hardy Lilies; flowers white, spotted with maroon, having a bright yellow band through the centre of each petal. Extra large bulbs, 20c. each; $2.50 per doz. First size bulbs, 15c. each; $1.50 per doz. Batemanni. Bright apricot tinted flowers, 15c. each; $1.50 per doz. Browni. Creamy white, shaded with choc- olate-crimson ; an extra large and fine Lily, 70c. each; $7.50 per doz. Canadense (Meadow Lily). Yellow spotted, 10c. each ; $1.00 per doz. ^PECfQJUMj Colchicum. Citron, black spots, 85c. ea. Elegans Erect urn (Thunbergianum or Umbellatum). Or- ange, spotted scarlet 15e. each ; $1.50 doz. Excelsum. Delicate light buff color. Candidum (Annuncia- tion. Madonna, or St. Joseph Lily). The well known garden Lily, pure white, 10c. each; $1.00 per doz. Chalcedonicum. 85c. ea.; $8.50 per doz. 35c. each; $3.50 per doz. Giganteum.
