| Description |
English: High Street (A170). This photograph is looking easterly, 'up' High Street and was taken from the raised pavement on the northern side of the street near the entrance to All Saints http://www.freewebs.com/thorntondale/thorntondale.htm.
On the opposite side of the road (near the furthest car) is the junction of the street with 436997. According to the OS Map the viewpoint for this photograph is on High Street. However a photograph, taken from the other side of the road, of 438119 shows that the viewpoint is on Church Hill. I have made the assumption therefore, that from the viewpoint east is High Street and from the viewpoint west is Church Hill.
