| Description |
English: High Street, Spilsby. The pavement surface on Market Street is being renewed, but this has already been done. Concrete paving slabs have been replaced by bricks laid in a herring bone pattern. The problem here is that motorists insist on parking on the pavement with their nearside wheels, on the one-way street. Eventually the wear and tear causes paving slabs to rock or crack and become dangerous to walk on, if you can get past the cars, that is. Some bollards, or railings, wouldn't go amiss and then the less able to walk and the pram pushers could negotiate this side of the road. |
