English: The Hierarchy of Controls applied to Total Worker Health describes the order in which organizations should prioritize interventions for worker well-being. The order goes 1) Eliminate hazards to worker safety and health, 2) Substitute health enhancing policies in place of hazardous ones, 3) Redesign the work environment to increase safe and healthy working conditions, 4) Educate workers and managers about workplace safety and health, and 5) Encourage personal change.
