Summary

Description
English: (1 in a multiple picture album)

The highest peak in the contiguous United States is Mt. Whitney and it is in this picture. Can you find it?
No it is not the large peak on the left. Nor is it the one on the right. Mt. Whitney is in the center of the picture. It looks shorter than the large ones because it is further away.
Look for the 'needles' in the center of the picture. The highest one, the one on the right of the needles is Mt. Whitney. Many people don't recognize it because it seems to be hiding as if it is bashful and doesn't want to be noticed.

The letters 'LP' on the brown hill stands for Lone Pine, CA. The brown hills are part of the Alabama Hills where many of the 1950s Western movies were filmed.
