Miguel Hidalgo was an important character in the Mexico’s Independence Day, so he is represented in Day of dead with a skull and his flag of the Virgin Maria that is emblematic for the most important religion in Mexico: Catholic religion. Also, other characters of different and important dates of Mexico´s history are represented with skulls (for example Francisco Villa of the Revolution day) and many times the complete event is narrated by this cute skulls. They are well off in order to make possible the representation of one action of the history. Since centuries before the skulls are an important part of the Day of dead in Mexico. The skull represent a funny way of seen the death in order to know that that is a part of the life and we have to accept this factor of our lives. |
