English: Located in Peru, New York on Mason Hill Road, it was built in 1836 by stonemason Robert York, Sr. The three-story building measures 35' by 60' and is made from Potsdam sandstone. The ground-level walls are 3 feet thick. It has been used as a woolen mill, starch factory, tannery, and lumber mill. The lumber mill operated from 1883-1972. There were apartments here from the late 1980's until a flood in 1998.
