Description
English: Hexham Market Place In the background is the gatehouse built in about 1400 to guard the Bailiff's Hall. It is known nowadays as the Moothall. Right of centre is the covered market hall and on the far left can be seen behind the trees the memorial fountain erected in 1901. All of these details are contained on the useful information board in the foreground.
