Description
Deutsch: Westlicher Teil der Mittleren Schwäbischen Alb. Frühling am „Heufeld“. Schichtflächenalb (Weißer Jura der „Wohlgeschichteten Kalk-Formation „ ox 2“. Die jüngeren Weißjura-Schichten ki1 bis ki5 sind schon abgetragen). Im Hintergrund der Härtling Kornbühl. Rechts der Hang des Zeugenberg „Köbele“. Die Traufbucht bei Ringingen liegt links außerhalb des Bildes.

English: Springtime on the plain “Heufeld”, middleSwabian Alb, “Schichtflächenalb”. The Schichtflächenalb is the second lowest of 8 layers of the upper lithostratigraphic unit of the South German Jurassic (ox2), next to the Alb’s cuesta. In the back: the ]Kornbühl, a Butte. The slope on the right is part of the outlier “Köbele”. The plain is much larger than seen on this image.
