Description
Español: Edículo y placa conmemorativa en forma de mosaico cerámico (azulejo) ubicado en una de las entradas del parque bautizado como «Héroes del combate de Teatinos», en Málaga, España, en recuerdo del enfrentamiento ocurrido el 5 de febrero de 1810 en Teatinos durante la toma de Málaga entre tropas napoleónicas y los últimos resistentes españoles que se negaban a rendir la ciudad. En el letrero de la parte inferior del monolito dice «Parque Héroes del Combate de Teatinos». En el mosaico cerámico de la placa, obra del artesano ceramista Paco Hidalgo (2019), sobre una cinta en su parte superior, se lee «En reconocimiento a los héroes del 5 de febrero de 1810». En la inscripción inferior del mosaico dice: «"Cerca de Málaga se reunieron unos cincuentamil [sic] franceses y polacos [...] Los españoles se estaban preparando. Todos cogían armas, hasta curas y mujeres e incluso vi a niños pequeños con fusiles [...] Un pueblo que se defiende de esta manera y sigue unido seguramente nos derrotará, pensé, y lo adiviné."
