Die Statuen symbolisieren die drei am weitesten verbreiteten Berufe in Wanne: Bergmann, Eisenbahner und Kanalschiffer, geschaffen von de:Wilhelm Braun (Bildhauer). Die Originalfiguren stehen am Wanner Heimatmuseum Bild Die Dritte Figur (Eisenbahner) befindet sich hinter der Säule.
