Description Philippine Armed Forces Chief of Staff Gen. Hermongenes C. Esperon Jr. accompanies U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines Kristie A. Kenney and U.S. Navy Adm. Timothy J. Keating, commander of U.S. Pacific Command, to the Maragondon National High School in Manila, Philippines, Feb. 26, 2008. Keating is in the area visiting service members involved in exercise Balikatan 2008. The annual bilateral exercise improves interoperability between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military during humanitarian, medical and engineering missions.
