English: Hermitage Doocot A large rectangular, late 17th or early 18th century doocot in Hermitage Glen. It has two chambers and each chamber has an entrance in the front wall. There are two triangular dormer windows, with seven entrance holes each. It is reported that there is a total of 1965 nest-holes inside. |
