Description
Deutsch: Kempten: der Hermannstobel, ein Tobel in der Eich zwischen Oberer Eicher Straße und Iller, Teil des Landschaftsschutzgebiets Iller (siehe LSG-Liste).
  • Die geologischen Verhältnisse dürften weitgehend jenen des nahegelegenen Geotops Illerdurchbruch bei Oberkottern entsprechen. Die oben aufliegenden zu Konglomeratgestein „verbackenen“ Schotter sind wohl als Nagelfluh anzusprechen. – Im Tobel sollen (im 19. Jh.?) auch tertiärzeitliche Fossilien gefunden worden sein, u. a. von Urnashörnern.
  • Der durch den Tobel fließende Adelharzer Bach/Adelharzer Graben kommt aus der Nähe von Am Gersbühl (Gemeinde Waltenhofen), fließt zunächst nordwärts an Adelharz (Stadt Kempten) vorbei, wird dann in einer Rohrleitung unter der Käsefabrik, der B 19, der Eisenbahn und der Oberen Eicher Straße hindurchgeführt und tritt am westlichen Ende des Hermannstobels wieder zutage. An dessen östlichem Ende mündet er nach etwa 2 km Gesamtlänge in die Iller.
    Der Bach wird unter verschiedenen Namen geführt: „Adelharzer Bach“ im BayernAtlas, dagegen „Adelharzer Graben“ in OpenStreetMap und in der Begründung zum Flächennutzungsplan Kempten 2009.
