Español: En 1951, el padre Herman Van Breda lanzó la edición de los escritos de Husserl, la Husserliana, y creó un punto de anclaje crucial con los Archivos Husserl de Lovaina para el restablecimiento de los contactos intelectuales entre Francia y Alemania, y en toda Europa. Muchos filósofos importantes, entre ellos Maurice Merleau-Ponty y Jacques Derrida, acudieron a Lovaina para leer la obra inédita de Husserl, y Van Breda mantuvo amplios contactos con Lévinas, Heidegger y otros. De este modo tan singular, el Instituto de Filosofía y los Archivos Husserl resultaron decisivos para la reconstitución en la posguerra de una república europea de la filosofía, trágicamente fragmentada con el estallido de la Primera Guerra Mundial. |
