Description
English: So now another Indietracks is over, what of the future? I really really hope there is another in 2012, and the message from the organisers is very much “see you next year!” But it's hard to feel totally confident about the event's future: it did feel a bit thinner this year, and tittle-tattle I picked up (which could be nothing more than that, of course) was that numbers were down 20% on 2010. If the event doesn't turn a profit for the railway, it's hard to see how it can continue, and this year there were already indications that general economic conditions mean there were fewer resources than last year, despite a slight increase in ticket price: ie there were fewer bands.
