Description
English: Capt. Brian Webb, a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) officer assigned to the Virginia National Guard’s 29th Infantry Division, discusses the scenario for a CBRN exercise with his Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) counterparts January 18, 2017, at a military base near Amman, Jordan. The JAF demonstrated their ability to detect an unexploded hazard, perform a security cordon in the area, identify and remove possible chemical hazards and decontaminate exposed personnel. Soldiers from U.S. Army Central, U.S. Marines from around southwest Asia and JAF participated in the exercise to practice interoperability and share best practices.
