Description
Deutsch: Forstamt Herberhausen - Ehemals grundherrlicher Haupthof des Ortes.

1372: Die Stadt Göttingen erwirbt das Grundstück im Zusammenhang mit dem Kauf des Dorfes Herberhausen, das um 1840 selbstständig und am 01.04.1963 nach Göttingen eingemeindet wurde. Der Hof war Vorwerk des Rates der Stadt, deshalb auch als Ratshof oder Ratsmeierhof bezeichnet. 1626: Zerstörung im 30.-jährigen Krieg.

1801: Bau der städtischen Oberförsterei mit Amtssitz und Wohnung auf dem nicht mehr bewohnten Meierhof.
