Heraldic Mount: England
Description
English: A cast copper-alloy quatrefoil-shaped harness stud or mount. Design of a central shield with three lions passant guardant; some red enamel survives on the ground around the lions. Area around the shield is enamelled in blue, with the empty outline of three fleurs-de-lys, one above the shield and one either side. Some traces of gilding remain in the fleurs-de-lys and lions. Measurements: 28.5 wide x 29 mm.
